The food was delicious and the service was great! Unexpectedly delicious, we will come back. Ordered a fried cheese appetizer- nothing for over 20 minutes. Very poor planning by the restaurant. From that point on - we waited 1.5 hours before our main meal arrived. The calamari was excellent and my main course was flank steak with chimichurri sauce and black beans and rice. However, he was getting pulled many times with another table to talk with them. Good food but our waitress was very slow. The meal and service was terrible. I will say where we were seated was weird/disappointing: as beautifully decorated as this place is, we were sat at a high top across from the entrance, next to the waiting area where everyone walks through, but separate from both dining areas. Was offered 15% discount however we Did not receive a paper receipt and the waiter did not inform us that there was an added gratuity for a large party (6) for 18% and asked us to add tip on a tablet with the waiter. A women called us and walked to the back and the table was in a corner area with no tableware ready and the table was not clean. With a reservation we were stuck in a corner. There was absolutely NO char on the lettuce and it is now cut up into small bits. Patelitos: rather flavorless.
