Our Kenmore washer will spin, but started making very loud grinding noise. Seller replaced it no problem. Replace the clutch band if it's worn or broken. There's not much to say the first one did not work at all, second one is working good so far, decided to reorder after first one failed because local parts stores charge double for the same thing, so far second one working good first one totaly failed worse than original didn't even start the washer etc, OK sorry but these parts are junk tried two of them after installing the second one it only worked for 5 days with regular use of washer, dont buy this unless you have no choice you ma y get lucky, went to local parts store and I stand corrected new part was black plastic with a shield on the conector side, came with warranty and its workingdon't buy unless you have no choice, Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2023.
