The Coast to Coast path follows the Haweswater Beck from Naddle Bridge, and passes beside the Thornthwaite Force, which it reaches well before attaining the Park Bridge at Thornthwaite Hall. Full leg covering is strongly advised in the event of wet weather. Notes: Burnbanks is found at the far eastern edge of Haweswater where there is a car park at the entrance to the village on the left (opposite the red phone box) with room for up to eight cars.
